Beer Class next week!

Next Tuesday is Beer Class! And we are tasting Black IPAs! Defined as such from Beer Advocate: “American Black Ales, also referred to as a Black IPA (India Pale Ale) or Cascadian Dark Ale, ales of this style range from dark brown to pitch black and showcase malty and light to moderate roasty notes and are often quite hoppy generally with the use of American hops. Alcohol can range from average to high depending on if the brewery is going for a “dobule / imperial” version.”

There’a also 220 different examples listed on Beer Advocate! Whew! That’s a lot of Black IPAS! We’ll only be tasting 6, for $20 and that will be plenty for one night!

In case you didn’t know, I (Molly) always teach the beer classes with the help of Tim, server extraordinaire and aspiring beer brewer. We have a tasting sheet and at 7:30 I usually pour the first beer. I review the style and the tasting notes and I let you guys have at it! We usually move through all the beers by 9pm. Many people eat dinner with their beers, some people have a pre- or post beer class beer, but we all have a great time!

Call us at 404-223-0393 if you want to join us for beer class! You can come alone or bring some friends!

Cheers!
