Where the Wild Beers Are going to be….

In January we usually do four Friday night takeovers, each with a theme. We have a few ideas, but would love to hear yours!

In the past we have done : Mikkeller, Hitachino, allagash, Smuttynose, Great Divide, Sour Beers and B.United beers (wild stuff from Europe) to name a few. The one challenge is we need at least 15 different beers for it to work as a take-over! Let us know what you would like to see takeover The Porter’s taps!

I’m a huge fan of all the different Bell’s beers, so it’d be great to see a takeover with a large line-up.

Founders and Brewdog are two of my favorites.

Or a mix of hefeweizen could take over, like Schneider, Weihenstephaner, Franziskaner, Hacker Pschorr, Ayinger, or even some of the U.S. versions like Sierra Nevada, Flying Dog, Brooklyn, or Live Oak. But you can see that I may have a little bias for heffe’s.

Founders or Brewdog may be a more plausible choice.

Can’t wait to come out, in fact, I’ll be there tonight.

Great Lakes Brewing Company is an outstanding brewery that for some reason cannot find any love in Georgia. They are one of the best stateside breweries. Great, consistent representation of each style they do. I’d kill to finally have their beers on tap again.
